If you join the mailing list, we collect the email address you submit. It is stored and processed by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), our email provider, and used only to send you news about Anya's music — releases, shows, and first listens. We never sell or share the list.
If you RSVP to a private event through our invitation page, we collect what the form asks a parent or guardian to provide: your name and email, the attending children's names, your attendance answer, your photo & video permission choice, and any note you add. This is stored in a private Google Sheet managed by Anya's family (processed by Google), used only to organize the event and to honor your photo permission, and never sold or shared. Confirmation emails come from our family account. We delete the RSVP list once the event follow-up wraps up; the photo-permission record is kept for as long as related photos remain published. You can change your photo permission at any time by emailing us.
If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply.
Pre-saving the album happens on DistroKid’s HyperFollow page, which DistroKid runs under its own privacy policy. If you leave its “share email address with artist” option checked, DistroKid may pass your email address to us. We use it only to tell you the album is out; we never add it to the mailing list without your separate opt-in, and we delete it on request.
To understand which pages and links are useful, this site uses GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It sets no cookies and stores no personal information: to tell repeat visits apart it briefly processes your IP address and browser details, then discards them, and we see only anonymous, aggregate counts — no names, emails, or advertising identifiers. The site sets no cookies of its own. The embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies unless you play a video. The WREG News Channel 3 videos load WREG's own player only after you press play; that player can show ads and is covered by WREG's privacy policy. Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, DistroKid, Tunespeak, and WREG lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Anya advertises her music on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). So that we can tell whether those ads work, most pages of this site load two advertising tags: Google's (Google Ads account AW-18460647258) and Meta's (pixel 945912568588894). Each one sets a cookie in your browser and tells that company which pages you opened here, so we can count how many visits came from an ad and so they can show her ads again to people who have already visited. Neither is given your name or e-mail address: the settings that would let them read the address you type into our sign-up form are switched off, in the page itself as well as in the advertising accounts. We do not use either tag on this privacy page or on the private RSVP page. Neither Google nor Meta shows personalised ads to anyone under 18.
When you join the mailing list there is an optional tick box: use my email to show me Anya’s ads. If you tick it, we may give your email address, scrambled, to Google or Meta so that her ads reach you. If you leave it alone — and everyone who joined before September 2026 did, because the box did not exist — we never do that with your address. You can change your mind any time by emailing us.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither tag ever loads and you do not need to do anything. You can also manage what Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com, what Meta shows you in the Ad preferences section of your Facebook or Instagram settings, and turn off ad cookies generally in your browser settings.
The mailing list is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has joined the list, email us and we will remove the address promptly.
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also write to email@anyaguptamusic.com at any time to have your address removed.
